Pensioen - retirement

 Na 42 jaar werken waarvan 38 jaar op het Centrum voor menselijke erfelijkheid heb ik afscheid genomen van mijn collega's. Met pijn in het hart want ik ga hen missen en anderszijds met enige opwinding in het vooruitzicht van  de vrije tijd die voor me ligt.

Ik heb voor mijn collega's een afscheidscadeautje gemaakt: een klavertje vier sleutelhanger en een labeltje.
Met dank aan Lizzie van 'Iet anders' in Mol voor het patroontje van het klavertje vier. Voor het labeltje heb ik inspiratie gehaald bij Angela Louwers van  Art Specially.

After 42 years of working, 38 of which at the Centre for Human genetics, I have said goodbye to my colleagues. With pain in my heart because I am going to miss them and, on the other hand, with some excitement at the prospect of the free time ahead of me.

I made a farewell gift for my colleagues: a four-leaf clover keychain and tag.

Verjaardagskaartjes - Birthdaycards

Beste vrienden, de zomermaanden zijn weeral voorbij gevlogen. Met die lange, warme dagen komt het er niet van om kaartjes te tonen.  Dan is er geen tijd om achter de computer te zitten.
Dit zijn de kaartjes voor de jarigen van juli en augustus. Best wel veel.

Dear friends, the summer months have flown by again. With those long, hot days, there is no time to show cards.  No time to sit at the computer. These are the birthday cards for July and August. Quite a lot.
