Valentijnswap - Valentine swap

Het wordt een jaarlijkse traditie om kaartjes te maken voor een Valentijns swap. Dit jaar verliefde girafjes. De inspiratie heb ik gehaald bij het geboortekaartje van Wout.

De 3 kaartjes onderaan heb ik in ruil ontvangen.

It is becoming an annual tradition to make cards for a Valentine's swap. This year, giraffes in love. I took the inspiration from Wout's birth card.

Zomeroogst - Harvest of a long summer

Om de woorden van Gerard Cox te gebruiken: " 't Is weer voorbij die mooie zomer". Na weken van hitte en droogte, is het weer compleet omgeslagen. Meestal was het te warm om creatief bezig te zijn. Maar ik heb toch enkele kaartjes en ATC's om jullie te tonen. Veel kijkplezier. 

In the words of Gerard Cox, "It's over again that beautiful summer". After weeks of heat and drought, the weather completely turned around. Mostly, it was too hot to be creative. But I still have some cards and ATCs to show you. Have fun watching. 

Enkele verjaardagskaartjes - some birthdaycard

Voor ATC België 3 mixed media ATC's gemaakt. 

De opdracht was: Kleef boekpapier op je kaart, bewerk het met gesso en geef kleur. Daarna bestempelen en afwerken met een tag/label en een bloem. Dit is mijn bijdrage. Ook een kaartje gemaakt voor de ontvanger.

I created 3 mixed media ATCs for ATC Belgium. 

The assignment was: Glue book paper on your card, treat it with gesso and add colour. Then stamp and finish with a tag/label and a flower. This is my contribution. I also made a card for the person I had to sent my ATC.

ATC-swap

 Ik heb nog eens deelgenomen aan de ATC-swap van ATC België. Voor de zomermaanden was de opgave 'zee, strand en schelpen' en voor de september swap was het 'Insecten'. Dit is mijn bijdrage.

I once again participated in the ATC swap of ATC Belgium. For the summer months, the task was 'Sea, beach and shells' and for the September swap it was 'Insects'. This is my contribution.

Jolan en Stephanie

Goedenavond,

Vorige week is onze jongste zoon Jolan gehuwd met Stephanie. Zo heb ik er een lieve dochter bijgekregen. En ook een creatieve. Enkele maanden geleden hebben Jolan en Stephanie mijn stempels ontdekt. Ze maken geregeld korte uitstappen. De foto's die ze dan maken, komen in een fotoalbum. Ze maken gretig gebruik van mijn stempels om de foto's in hun fotoalbum op te fleuren.
Maar ze hebben zich ook gewaagd aan een uitnodigingskaart voor de getuigen.
Ook de uitnodiging in hout hebben ze zelf gemaakt.
Ik hoef jullie niet te vertellen dat ik heel fier op hen ben.
Op basis van hun kaart, heb ik voor hen een kaart gemaakt.

Dear friends,
Last week my youngest son Jolan married his Stephanie. Just a lovely couple.
But also a very creative one. A few months ago they discovered my stamps. Since then they use them to embellish their scrapbook they are making.
But they also used them to invite the wedding witnesses (her sister and our daughter and other son).
Also the wooden invitation was made by them. I'm very proud.
Based on their card I made my card for them.
