Jaarlijks organiseert Chantal Verhoeven een workshopweekend. Dit jaar was Bianca Van Noort onze gastvrouw. Een heel kundige en sympathieke lesgeefster die ons weer een heleboel nieuws geleerd heeft. Dit weekend de kaartjes verder afgewerkt en dit is het resultaat. 

Every year, Chantal Verhoeven organises a workshop weekend. This year, Bianca Van Noort was our host. She is a very good and friendly teacher who taught us lots of new things. I finished off the cards this weekend, and this is the result. I'm quite pleased with the result.

Zaterdag: alcoholinkten en structuurpasta.
Saturday: alcohol inks and texture paste.

Zaterdag: alcoholinkten in een lamineervel.
Saterday: alcohol inks in a laminating sheet.

Zondag: pop-up kaart met bloemen en vlinders. Dit was wel pittig maar ik ben best tevreden met het resultaat.
Sunday: a pop-up card with flowers and butterflies. It was quite a challenge, but I’m quite pleased with the result.

ATC swap ATC België

 De voorbije maanden heb ik deelgenomen aan de ATC swaps van ATC België. De thema's waren 'vlinders' en 'zee'.
Dit is mijn bijdrage.

 Over the past few months, I have taken part in the ATC swaps organised by ATC Belgium. The themes were ‘butterflies’ and ‘the sea’.
This is my entry.

ATC swap

Enkele maanden geleden ben ik uitgenodigd door Lisa Scanu om een persoonlijke ATC swap te doen. Dat viel zo goed mee dat we nu maandelijks ATC's ruilen. De thema's van de voorbije maanden waren: bloemen, dieren en zee/strand.

A few months ago, Lisa Scanu invited me to take part in a personal ATC swap. It went so well that we now trade ATCs every month. The themes over the past few months have been: flowers, animals and the sea/beach.

Workshop

Gisteren een leuke, leerrijke dag gehad bij Maria Bellekens. Samen met enkele stempelvriendinnen hebben we achtergronden gemaakt met sprays en met alcoholinkten. Daarna afgewerkt tot een mannen- en een vrouwenkaart. En een kerstkaart.

Yesterday I had a really fun day at Maria Bellekens’s place. Together with a few stamping friends, we created backgrounds using sprays and alcohol-based inks. We then finished them off to make a card for a man and one for a woman. And a Christmas card.

Enkele eenvoudige verjaardagskaartjes gemaakt. Eén is geen. Ineens maar vier gemaakt nu ik toch bezig was.

Christmas in July

Ik heb niet de gewoonte om in juli al kerstkaarten te maken maar ik wou mijn nieuwe snijmallen van Craft addiction UK uitproberen en heb er maar ineens een kerstkaart van gemaakt. En last minute heb ik besloten deze nog in te dienen voor de Lost coast designs challenge: Christmas in July.

I usually don’t make Christmas cards as early as July, but I wanted to try out my new dies from Craft Addiction UK, so I decided to make a Christmas card. And at the last minute, I decided to enter it in the Lost Coast Designs challenge: Christmas in July.

Verjaardagen mei en juni - birthday cards from May and June

In mei waren er slechts twee jarigen en geen in juni. Door het warme weer is het er niet van gekomen om veel te stempelen.

Fortunately, there were only two birthdays in May and none in June. Because of the hot weather, I didn’t get round to do any crafting.

In maart en april zijn er een heleboel jarigen die van mij een kaartje krijgen.

In March and April, there were a lot of people celebrating their birthdays who received a card from me. Among them our son and daughter.
