De voorbije maanden heb ik deelgenomen aan de ATC swaps van ATC België. De thema's waren 'vlinders' en 'zee'.

Over the past few months, I have taken part in the ATC swaps organised by ATC Belgium. The themes were ‘butterflies’ and ‘the sea’.
This is my entry.
Ik heb niet de gewoonte om in juli al kerstkaarten te maken maar ik wou mijn nieuwe snijmallen van Craft addiction UK uitproberen en heb er maar ineens een kerstkaart van gemaakt. En last minute heb ik besloten deze nog in te dienen voor de Lost coast designs challenge: Christmas in July.
I usually don’t make Christmas cards as early as July, but I wanted to try out my new dies from Craft Addiction UK, so I decided to make a Christmas card. And at the last minute, I decided to enter it in the Lost Coast Designs challenge: Christmas in July.

In mei waren er slechts twee jarigen en geen in juni. Door het warme weer is het er niet van gekomen om veel te stempelen.
Fortunately, there were only two birthdays in May and none in June. Because of the hot weather, I didn’t get round to do any crafting.
In maart en april zijn er een heleboel jarigen die van mij een kaartje krijgen.
In March and April, there were a lot of people celebrating their birthdays who received a card from me. Among them our son and daughter.
Mijn lieve kleinzoon Jules (7 ondertussen) is nog steeds even gek op panda's als toen hij klein was.Voor hem deze kiekeboe kaart geïnspireerd door een tutorial van Jennifer McGuire.
My dear grandson Jules (now 7) is still as fond of pandas as he was when he was little.For him, I made this peekaboo card inspired by a tutorial by Jennifer McGuire.
Apart nog een kerstkaartje gemaakt voor een lieve vriendin. We houden allebei van de stempels van Lavinia maar weten vaak niet goed hoe ze te gebruiken. Daarom had ik mezelf uitgedaagd om speciaal voor haar een kerstkaart te maken met vnl. Lavinia stempels.
I also made a special Christmas card for a dear friend. We both love Lavinia stamps, but often don't know how to use them. That's why I challenged myself to make a Christmas card especially for her, using mainly Lavinia stamps.
Dit jaar organiseerden we naast de ATC swap ook een kerstkaarten swap met Finland. Om er zeker van te zijn dat de kaart tijdig aan zou komen, werd ze al eind november verstuurd.
Dit is mijn kaart naar een ideetje van de mooie voorbeelden van het adventspakket vorig jaar van Ludiec.
This year, in addition to the ATC swap, we also organised a Christmas card swap with Finland. To ensure that the card would arrive on time, it was sent at the end of November.
This is my card based on an idea from the beautiful examples in last year's Advent package from Ludiec.
Ik heb de indruk dat er weer een heleboel verjaardagskaarten zijn die ik nog niet getoond heb. Dat gaan we dan goedmaken.
I have the impression that there are a lot of birthday cards that I haven't shown yet. Let's fix that.
Een kaartje voor de 91ste verjaardag van tante José, die we helaas een paar weken later hebben moeten afstaan.

Beste vrienden, de zomermaanden zijn weeral voorbij gevlogen. Met die lange, warme dagen komt het er niet van om kaartjes te tonen. Dan is er geen tijd om achter de computer te zitten.

Reeds een jarenlange traditie, maar het blijft even leuk om te doen. De ATC swap met Finland. Het thema was dit jaar 'liefde'. Ik verzamelde de ATC aan Belgische kant, Riitta Taari aan Finse zijde. En wij ruilden ze op het Art specially event. Eénmaal terug thuis verdeelde ik ze dan terug onder onze deelneemsters. Dank je wel dames. Het waren weer pareltjes dit jaar.
Already a long-standing tradition, but still just as fun to do. The ATC swap with Finland. The theme this year was 'love'. I collected the ATC on the Belgian side, Riitta Taarri on the Finnish side. And we swapped them at the Art specially event. Once back home, I then distributed them back to our participants. Thank you ladies. They were really lovely again this year.

Het wordt een jaarlijkse traditie om kaartjes te maken voor een Valentijns swap. Dit jaar verliefde girafjes. De inspiratie heb ik gehaald bij het geboortekaartje van Wout.
De 3 kaartjes onderaan heb ik in ruil ontvangen.
It is becoming an annual tradition to make cards for a Valentine's swap. This year, giraffes in love. I took the inspiration from Wout's birth card.
