ATC swap

Na 3 jaar hebben we de draad terug opgenomen om te swappen met ATC België. Het thema was 'Lente'. Hier mijn bijdrage en een bedankkaartje voor de organisatrice.

After three years, we restarted swapping with ATC Belgium. The theme was ‘Spring’. Here is my contribution and a thank-you card for the organiser.

Facebook challenge

Ik werd door Maria Bellekens uitgedaagd om gedurende 10 dagen creaties van mij te tonen op facebook. Dit zijn er enkele van. Andere toonde ik hier al eerder.

I was challenged by Maria Bellekens to show creations of mine on facebook for 10 days. These are some of them. Others I showed here before.

Noorderlicht - Northern lights

In januari gingen mijn dochter en schoonzoon op vakantie naar Lapland. Ze hadden het geluk om op een avond het Noorderlicht te zien. Op één van hun tochten hebben ze rendieren kunnen spotten. Ik heb beide proberen te vatten in een kaart. Niet gemakkelijk en meerdere probeersels zijn in de papiermand beland. De ene kaart is gemaakt met distress inkt, de andere met alcoholinkten. De kleintjes zijn stukjes mislukkelingen.

In January, my daughter and son-in-law went on holiday to Lapland. They were lucky to see the Northern Lights one evening. On one of their trips, they were able to spot reindeer. I tried to capture both in a card. Not easy and several attempts ended up in the paper basket. One card was made with distress ink, the other with alcohol inks. The little ones are pieces of failure

Resist swap

De uitdaging voor de maand april was het gebruik van een 'resist' techniek in een kaartje, label, ATC. Hannie had het leuke idee om hier een mapje mee te maken. Christine, Hannie en ik hebben voor elkaar een mapje gemaakt. Eerst zie je de prachtige mapjes met vrolijke kleuren van Christine en Hannie. Daarna het mijne. 

The challenge for the month of April was to use a 'resist' technique in a card, label, ATC. Hannie had the fun idea of making a folder with this. Christine, Hannie and I made a folder for each other. First you will see the beautiful folders with their cheerful colours made by Christine and Hannie. Then mine.

ATC swaps

Voorbije maanden zijn er ook weer enkele ATC swaps geweest van ATC België waaraan ik deelnam.
In december was het thema humor.

Past months I participated in several ATC swaps. Most of them of ATC Belgium.
In December the theme was humour.

In januari is er weer een swap geweest met Finland met Riitta als gastvrouw. Er waren dit jaar liefst 17 deelneemsters in België, wat een heel pak ATC'tjes opleverde om te versturen. Deze maakte ik, samen met een kaartje voor Riitta.

In January Riitta and I organized for the 11th year a swap between Finland and Belgium. The theme was Valentine. This year I had a lot more of participants than other years. These are my ATCs for Finland and a thank you card for Riitta.

Voor de laatste swap was de opdracht te werken op boekpapier als achtergrond. Deze moest gedeeltelijk zichtbaar blijven. Mijn kaartje en ATC's.

For the last swap we had to work on bookpaper as background.

Dit kaartje speciaal gemaakt voor mijn mama omdat ze de stempel en de achtergrond zo mooi vond.

Especially made for my mom just because she loved the background and the stamp.

Flower power ATC's

Vorige maand heb ik weer deelgenomen aan de ATC swap van ATC België. Het thema was 'Flower power'. Ik vond het aartsmoeillijk en de inspiratie heeft een tijd op zich laten wachten maar dit heb ik ervan gemaakt.
Flower power was the theme of January of ATC Belgium. A very difficult theme to me. It took me several weeks before I had enough inspiration to make next ATC. But I enjoyed making them. I hope you like them too.

Finland swap 2018

Nog 3 nachtjes slapen en dan begint het leukste event van het jaar: het Art specially event.

Hier heb ik tien jaar geleden mijn Finse vriendin Riitta leren kennen. Sindsdien organiseren we jaarlijks een ATC swap tussen de Finse stempelaars en onze dames van de Creatief met stempels groep. Dit jaar ook dus. Riitta en ik wisselen de pakjes uit op de beurs wat ons flink wat verzendingskosten bespaart. Dit jaar was het thema 'muziek'. Dit is mijn bijdrage en dan ziet u ook nog een collage van de ATC's van de andere deelneemsters en de bedankkaartjes.

Three more nights to go and then the nicest event of the year starts: the Art specially event.

Here I met my Finnish friend Riitta. Since then we organize an annual ATC swap between the Finnish stampers and our ladies from the Creative with stamps group. This year too. Riitta and I exchange the packages at the event, which saves us a lot of shipping costs. This year the theme was 'music'. This is my contribution and you will also see a collage of the ATCs of the other participants and the thank-you cards.
