De voorbije maanden heb ik deelgenomen aan de ATC swaps van ATC België. De thema's waren 'vlinders' en 'zee'.
Dit is mijn bijdrage.
Over the past few months, I have taken part in the ATC swaps organised by ATC Belgium. The themes were ‘butterflies’ and ‘the sea’.
This is my entry.
A few months ago, Lisa Scanu invited me to take part in a personal ATC swap. It went so well that we now trade ATCs every month. The themes over the past few months have been: flowers, animals and the sea/beach.

After three years, we restarted swapping with ATC Belgium. The theme was ‘Spring’. Here is my contribution and a thank-you card for the organiser.
Volgende week vindt de eerste art event plaats in Nijkerk. Deze beurs die de opvolger van het Art specially event is, draait helemaal rond stempelen, mixed media, journalen en scrapbooken.
Er zal ook de mogelijkheid zijn om ATC's te ruilen. Daarom heb ik mijn voorraad de laatste weken wat aangevuld. Ineke van de facebookgroep 'vrienden die artspecially leuk vinden' heeft gedurende het afgelopen jaar elke week een opdracht gepost. Ik heb een aantal hiervan uitgewerkt.
Next week, the first art event will take place in Nijkerk. This fair, which is the successor to the Art Specially event, is all about stamping, mixed media, journaling, and scrapbooking.
There will also be an opportunity to exchange ATCs. That's why I've been replenishing my stock over the last few weeks. Ineke from the Facebook group “Vrienden die artspecially leuk vinden” has posted a weekly assignment over the past year. I've completed a number of these.
Het wordt een echte traditie om een ATC swap te doen met de Finse stempel dames. Dit jaar was het thema Halloween. Maar omdat niet iedereen een even veel voeling heeft met Halloween of er stempels van heeft, hebben we het thema uitgebreid met 'herfst'.
Ik vond het zelf ook leuk om te doen. Uiteindelijk had ik 7 verschillende ATC's om uit te kiezen.
It is becoming a real tradition to do an ATC swap with the Finnish stamp ladies. This year's theme was Halloween. But because not everyone is equally familiar with Halloween or has stamps related to it, we included the theme with “autumn”.
I enjoyed doing it myself. In the end, I had seven different ATCs to choose from.
De laatste weken nog ATC'tjes gemaakt voor het Art specially event. Deze hebben als thema 'rozen' en 'feest'.
De past weeks I made some more ATC for the Art specially event. The themes are 'roses' and 'party'.
Eind maart vindt het Art specially event weer plaats in Nijkerk. Het is de ideale plaats om ATC's te ruilen. In de aanloop naar het event geeft Ineke van 'Vrienden die ArtSpecially for you leuk vinden' wekelijks een uitdaging. Een gedeelte heb ik al gemaakt.

The Art specially event takes place again in Nijkerk at the end of March. It is the ideal place to swap ATCs. In the run-up to the event, Ineke from ‘Friends who like ArtSpecially for you’ is giving a weekly challenge. Some of them I have already made.

Een kleine swap met 4 met als thema 'kids en ijsjes'. Dat was geen eenvoudig thema. Maar ik ben blij met het resultaat. En de ATC's die ik terugkreeg van Piroska zijn een mooie aanvulling op mijn verzameling.
A little swap with 4 with the theme 'kids and ice cream'. It was not an easy task. But I am happy with the result. And the ATCs I got back from Piroska are a nice addition to my collection.

Reeds een jarenlange traditie, maar het blijft even leuk om te doen. De ATC swap met Finland. Het thema was dit jaar 'liefde'. Ik verzamelde de ATC aan Belgische kant, Riitta Taari aan Finse zijde. En wij ruilden ze op het Art specially event. Eénmaal terug thuis verdeelde ik ze dan terug onder onze deelneemsters. Dank je wel dames. Het waren weer pareltjes dit jaar.
Already a long-standing tradition, but still just as fun to do. The ATC swap with Finland. The theme this year was 'love'. I collected the ATC on the Belgian side, Riitta Taarri on the Finnish side. And we swapped them at the Art specially event. Once back home, I then distributed them back to our participants. Thank you ladies. They were really lovely again this year.

In januari gingen mijn dochter en schoonzoon op vakantie naar Lapland. Ze hadden het geluk om op een avond het Noorderlicht te zien. Op één van hun tochten hebben ze rendieren kunnen spotten. Ik heb beide proberen te vatten in een kaart. Niet gemakkelijk en meerdere probeersels zijn in de papiermand beland. De ene kaart is gemaakt met distress inkt, de andere met alcoholinkten. De kleintjes zijn stukjes mislukkelingen.
In January, my daughter and son-in-law went on holiday to Lapland. They were lucky to see the Northern Lights one evening. On one of their trips, they were able to spot reindeer. I tried to capture both in a card. Not easy and several attempts ended up in the paper basket. One card was made with distress ink, the other with alcohol inks. The little ones are pieces of failure

Dit zijn de ATC's van de laatste swaps van ATC België.
Het eerste had als thema: fantasie moodboard. Mijn interpretatie was niet volledig correct want ik heb er enkel de fantasie uit gehaald.
Voor de swap van december ging het meer om een techniek. Achtergrond maken met acrylverf en stempelen met StaZon. Het thema was vrij.
These are the ATCs from ATC Belgium's latest swaps.
The first one had the theme: fantasy mood board. My interpretation was not entirely correct as I only took fantasy out of it.
For the December swap and very last one, it was more about a technique. Making the background with acrylic paint and stamp with StaZon. The theme was free.

Om de woorden van Gerard Cox te gebruiken: " 't Is weer voorbij die mooie zomer". Na weken van hitte en droogte, is het weer compleet omgeslagen. Meestal was het te warm om creatief bezig te zijn. Maar ik heb toch enkele kaartjes en ATC's om jullie te tonen. Veel kijkplezier.
In the words of Gerard Cox, "It's over again that beautiful summer". After weeks of heat and drought, the weather completely turned around. Mostly, it was too hot to be creative. But I still have some cards and ATCs to show you. Have fun watching.
