Finland swap 2024

Reeds een jarenlange traditie, maar het blijft even leuk om te doen. De ATC swap met Finland. Het thema was dit jaar 'liefde'. Ik verzamelde de ATC aan Belgische kant, Riitta Taari aan Finse zijde. En wij ruilden ze op het Art specially event. Eénmaal terug thuis verdeelde ik ze dan terug onder onze deelneemsters. Dank je wel dames. Het waren weer pareltjes dit jaar.

Already a long-standing tradition, but still just as fun to do. The ATC swap with Finland. The theme this year was 'love'. I collected the ATC on the Belgian side, Riitta Taarri on the Finnish side. And we swapped them at the Art specially event. Once back home, I then distributed them back to our participants. Thank you ladies. They were really lovely again this year.

De vakantie zit er al enkele weken op en de herfst staat voor de deur. Maar we hebben nog warm (te warm) weer gekregen.

Ik hoop dat jullie ook genoten hebben van die tijd, veel ideetjes en inspiratie hebben opgedaan.

Behalve wat verjaardagskaarten heb ik zelf weinig gedaan.

De dagen zijn nu al wat korter en er zijn teveel muggen om 's avonds nog buiten te kunnen zitten. Tijd dus om onze stempeltjes terug boven te halen.

Ik ga jullie de kaartjes tonen van de voorbije maanden.

The holidays are already several weeks away! Autumn is about to start. But we still got warm (too warm) weather.

I hope you also enjoyed that time, got lots of ideas and inspiration.

Apart from some birthday cards, I haven't done much myself.

The days are shorter now and there are too many mosquitoes to sit outside in the evening. So time to get our stamps out again.

Kerstkaarten - Christmascards

Het is bijna niet te geloven maar al mijn kerstkaarten waren half december al klaar en zijn verstuurd. Ik kan ze hier dan ook tonen. 

It is almost unbelievable but all my Christmas cards were ready and sent out by mid-December. So I can show them here. 

Uitdaging

 Een nieuwe uitdaging van Christine.

Gebruik volle stempels, witte stempelinkt, inkt in een contrasterende kleur, gekleurd papier.
Kaartpapier op de juiste maat knippen.
Stempel met de witte inkt rond de rand van het papier.
Stempel met de contrasterende kleur hetzelfde motief ‘n paar millimeter naast en over de witte afdruk.
De kaart matten op een witte kaart.

Ik heb gewerkt op kraft papier en er een beetje een eigen invulling aan gegeven.

The new challenge: Use bold stamps, white stamp ink, ink in a contrasting colour, coloured paper.
Cut card paper to the right size.
Stamp with the white ink around the edge of the paper.
Using the contrast colour, stamp the same motif a few millimetres next to and over the white print.
Matt the card onto a white card.

I worked on kraft paper and gave it a little twist of my own.

Uitdaging Christine - Challenge January

Hallo,
Voor de maandelijkse uitdaging, vroeg Christine ons kaartjes te maken in de vorm van een polaroid foto. Ik hoopte er meer te maken, maar voorlopig is het bij twee gebleven.

I took part in the monthly challenge of our stamping group. Christine asked us to make a card with the form of a Polaroid photo. I planned to make more cards, but for the time being, only two cards were made.

ATC-swap

 Ik heb nog eens deelgenomen aan de ATC-swap van ATC België. Voor de zomermaanden was de opgave 'zee, strand en schelpen' en voor de september swap was het 'Insecten'. Dit is mijn bijdrage.

I once again participated in the ATC swap of ATC Belgium. For the summer months, the task was 'Sea, beach and shells' and for the September swap it was 'Insects'. This is my contribution.

Finland ATC

Beste vrienden,
Reeds voor de tiende keer organiseerden Riitta en ik een ATC swap tussen Finse en Belgische stempelaars. Het thema was 'natuur' in brede zin. De bedoeling was de kaartjes te ruilen op het Art specially event. Maar helaas kon dit niet doorgaan. Dit zijn de ATC's die ik maakte om te ruilen en een bedankkaart voor Riitta. Daarna staan de ATC's die ik kreeg uit Finland.

Waarschijnlijk was de post overbelast want de ATC's hebben er 46 dagen over gedaan om van Finland naar België te komen. Maar gelukkig heb ik ze nu toch kunnen verdelen.

This year was already the 10th time that Riitta and I organized a swap between the stampers of Finland and Belgium. The theme was 'nature'. We planned to swap the ATC during the Art specially event. But as the event was canceled this year due to the Corona crisis we had to send the ATC.
These are the ATC that I made and a card for Riitta.

We stayed in suspense for a long time because it took the Finnish ATC's 46 days to get to Belgium. But fortunately they weren't lost and they arrived here anyway and were divided over all our participants.

Kerstkaarten 2019

De laatste kerst- en nieuwjaarskaartjes gingen deze week de deur uit.
Deze maakte ik dit jaar (vorig jaar😉). Enkele ervan dan toch. Van de rest ben ik vergeten fotootjes te maken.

Kerstswap - Christmas swap

Riitta uit Finland en ik organiseerden een kerstkaarten swap. Elke deelneemster kreeg een adres en maakte een kaart voor de ontvanger. En vice versa.

Riitta and I organized a Christmas card swap. All participants received an adress to send their card and received a card back from someone else.

Faux postage

Voor de uitdaging van oktober voor de CMS groep, had Christine ons gevraagd zelf postzegels te maken. Eerst een paar filmpjes bekeken en daarna heb ik me er zelf aan gewaagd met het volgende resultaat. Met de postzegels heb ik dan de eerste kerstkaartjes mee versierd.

The October challenge for the CMS group was to make faux postage stamps. After watching some You tube films I also gave it a try with this result. Afterwards I decorated my first Christmas cards with the stamps.
