Paashaas - Easter bunny

Deze keer heb ik mijn naaimachine bovengehaald. Ik heb dit mandje voor mezelf gemaakt veel jaren geleden toen ik nog naar de hobbyles ging. Een eenvoudig model dat nog altijd succes heeft. Mijn mama had ook zo'n mandje en dit is nu in gebruik bij de zoon. Nu nog eentje gemaakt voor de dochter. Een leuke manier om de chocolade paaseitjes te presenteren.

This time, I got out my sewing machine. I made this basket for myself many years ago when I still went to hobby class. This model was successful. My mum also had one and this is now in use with the son. Now I made another one for the daughter. A fun way to present the chocolate Easter eggs.

Dubbel plezier - Twice the fun

Deze keer iets anders. Een pralinedoosje omgetoverd tot een opbergdoos voor foto's. We hebben eerst de pralines opgegeten en daarna heb ik het deksel van de doos bekleedt met decoratief papier. De doos was te mooi om weg te gooien.

This time something different. A praline box transformed into a storage box for photos. We ate the chocolates first and then I covered the lid of the box with decorative paper. The box was too pretty to throw away.

 

Zwart en wit - Black and white

Lost coast design kwam deze maand weer met een leuke uitdaging. Een kaart enkel in zwart en wit. Ik speelde al langer met een ideetje en dit was het moment om het uit te proberen.

Lost coast design came up with another fun challenge this month. A card in black and white only. I had an idea for some time and this was the moment to try it out. This is the card I'm participating in the challenge.

Noorderlicht - Northern lights

In januari gingen mijn dochter en schoonzoon op vakantie naar Lapland. Ze hadden het geluk om op een avond het Noorderlicht te zien. Op één van hun tochten hebben ze rendieren kunnen spotten. Ik heb beide proberen te vatten in een kaart. Niet gemakkelijk en meerdere probeersels zijn in de papiermand beland. De ene kaart is gemaakt met distress inkt, de andere met alcoholinkten. De kleintjes zijn stukjes mislukkelingen.

In January, my daughter and son-in-law went on holiday to Lapland. They were lucky to see the Northern Lights one evening. On one of their trips, they were able to spot reindeer. I tried to capture both in a card. Not easy and several attempts ended up in the paper basket. One card was made with distress ink, the other with alcohol inks. The little ones are pieces of failure

Verjaardagskaartjes - birthdaycards

Goede voornemens gaan met mij niet goed samen. Ik had me voorgenomen om regelmatiger een post te plaatsen maar dat is helaas niet gelukt.  Ik ga jullie nu een aantal dagen spammen. En er zit variatie in deze keer. Te beginnen met de verjaardagskaarten van zo'n 4 maand.
De eerste is voor onze kleinzoon. Zijn lievelingsknuffel is een panda. 

Good intentions don't go well with me. I had planned to post more regularly but unfortunately it didn't work out. I'm going to spam you for a few days now. And there's some variation this time. Let's start with the birthdaycards.
The first is for our grandson. His favourite teddy is a panda.
